Why Dog Sitting?

Yes, I am a dog trainer, but I also know how often dog parents just need some simple dog sitting when they go out of town. Especially for dogs that may be a little much for regular dog sitters. I offer flexible options for overnight dog sitting as well as drop-in care for dogs that just need someone to stop by and check on them.

Behavior Levels

Because I offer dog sitting for dogs that may be a bit "much," I have 2 different behavior levels.

Level 1 Dog Sitting

Do you need simple dog sitting for one or multiple pups with no behavioral issues?

Level 2 Dog Sitting

Does your dog have qualities or behaviors that normal dog sitters may not be able to handle?

Nighttime and Daytime Care

Both nighttime and daytime dog sitting can apply to different species, such as cats. Care includes:
- walks or exercise
- feeding
- medications
- cuddles

For dog sitting, please expect to provide detailed instructions on how I should care for your animals.

For nighttime dog sitting, I stay at your house overnight and care for your pets while you're away.

For daytime dog sitting, I can either stay full time in the home or do drop-in care. The details for daytime care are usually discussed and agreed upon prior to the dog sitting dates.

Level 1

Level 1 dogs are dogs who don't have any specific medical needs or behavioral issues.

There is generally no limit on the number of Level 1 dogs per household I can care for. However, there is an additional fee for each extra dog or animal.

As for all of my services, we will need to set up a free evaluation to determine eligibility for Level 1 dog sitting.

Level 2

Level 2 dogs may have mild to moderate behavioral issues or more demanding medical needs. Examples of behaviors that may qualify your dog for Level 2 dog sitting include hyperactivity, lack of leash skills, or dogs that are prone to seizures.

Unlike Level 1, I will typically only accept one or two Level 2 dogs per household.

As for all of my services, we will need to set up a free evaluation to determine eligibility for Level 2 dog sitting.

What Dogs Do Not Qualify for Dog Sitting?

Severe aggression such as an extensive bite history may disqualify you from dog sitting or walking.
Severe health conditions that require frequent veterinary care may also disqualify your pup from dog sitting.
It never hurts to ask, though, so don't be shy! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me below.
